Turtles - Toddlers

Your toddler has a multitude of exciting learning opportunities at Shirley Street and many they will encounter for the very first time. With careful guidance from our supportive, nurturing and experienced team of early years practitioners, your toddler will thrive in our Turtle Room. Fun is at the heart of all we do and your toddler will have the chance to get stuck in to a wide range of equipment and activities to develop their physical, emotional, social and communication skills; encouraging learning through play. Toddlers can join in with messy activities, dressing up, cook up a storm in our kitchen area, build incredible castles with giant blocks or settle down in the cosy area and look at story books. The majority of our resources are clearly labelled with photographs allowing children to choose their activites independently. The toddler room routine allows plenty of choice and free play so your child can develop their own interests and explore new ones! We would be delighted to welcome your child into our Turtle Room.
